Lanzarote Day II:

It was a little chilly up on the vulcanoes but hell the wind blew hard and in the end it did from the back. It made you fly along the road homewards – most fantastic! Although fighting against the wind on the way north in the morning was rather hard. 60 -80! Km/h on the way back was fascinating speed. Thundering along, past the dull Lava fields. The whole landscape actually looks extremely rough. Nothing grows there- no birds, no animals around – pure stone, sand and nothing. Best conditions for Triathletes and cyclists. Have a look:
